Don’t let a lack of transportation hold you back. We can get you there! BGCAP provides easy and affordable public and Medicaid-related transportation. We’re also pleased to provide regional and local routes in select Kentucky counties. Review our transportation options below.
Public Transportation
Public transportation services are available from 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday, and Saturday from 8 am to 4:30 pm. Route times may differ, as actual times may vary according to traffic conditions, weather conditions, and other factors. Fares are $1.75 per mile, with a $5.00 minimum per trip. Medicaid-Related Transportation
BGCAP provides transportation to and from medical appointments for eligible Medicaid recipients. This service is paid for by Medicaid. Transportation services must be scheduled in advance. Services are available 6 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday, and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturday. Call 800-456-6588 to schedule.
Bluegrass RIDE
Bluegrass RIDE offers fare-free transit service throughout Danville, Georgetown and Nicholasville. Routes are available Monday through Saturday. View specific community routes and schedules below.
Bluegrass RIDE Regional Routes
Bluegrass RIDE has introduced a network of regional transit routes connecting the Bluegrass region. Three new regional routes include Danville-Nicholasville-Lexington, Georgetown - Lexington (ComingSoon) and Frankfort - Lexington (Coming Soon). Learn more at the link below.
